KFC Australia Twitter NSFW post

The tweet by KFC Australia said, “Warning: #NSFW. Something hot and spicy is coming soon.”

KFC has never been known for lewd advertising. But for this particular ad, they received more than 1,300 retweets before the ad was deleted.

In an official statement to News.com.au, KFC said, “This was a genuine tweet to launch KFC’s new Hot & Spicy chicken products next week. It was not intended to offend and we’ve removed the image.”

This was probably one of the shortest lived KFC social media campaigns.
