Apple iPhone in the Philippines 2

Despite the many competitors of the Apple iPhone 4, this state of the art touch screen smart phone which is described as a new innovation that “changes everything – again” is still the hottest item in the market. Even before a local telecom carrier launched the iPhone 4 two days ago, many, including some blogger friends I know, have already reserved their unit which is exclusively available at Globe Telecom.

I am not surprised as to why there are so many Apple iPhone 4 fanatics, aside from the loyal Apple users. The new features of the iPhone4 includes video calling or more known as FaceTime. With the tap of a button, iPhone 4 users can wave hello to anyone or share a funny face across the globe — iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 or to the new iPod touch over Wi-Fi.

FaceTime is so easy to use. If you want to start a video call with your friend, just find his o r her n

ame in your Contacts and tap the FaceTime button. Or if you’re already talking on a voice call with your friend, iPhone 4 to iPhone 4, and you want to switch to video, just tap the FaceTime button on the screen and an invitation will pop up on your friend’s screen and when that person accepts, the video call automatically starts.

Another new feature of the iPhone 4 is the Retina Display. This feature’s pixel density is so high that a person’s eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels. The implication is that text in books, web pages, and email is crisp at any size. Images in games, movies, and photos pop off the screen. Basically, everything is sharper.

Also, finally, Multitasking has been added on to this phone’s new features. Through this feature users can run their favorite third-party apps — and switch between them instantly — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app. This smarter approach to multitasking is available only in iOS 4, the iPhone 4’s operating system which now has an available update known as the iOS 4.1 software update.

One final major feature is the HD Video Recording. With the iPhone 4, you can shoot video in stunning high definition. The iPhone 4’s advanced backside illumination sensor delivers great-looking video in both bright and low-light settings. And in dark environments, the scene can be brightened with the built-in LED light. All this is captured through a 5-megapixel camera.

If these features do not impress you, I do not know what else will. So, get your iPhone 4 now which is available only in Globe’s postpaid plans which is free at Plan PHP 3.799 (16GB Black), and t Plan PHP 5,000 (32GB Black). The Apple iPhone 4 is also available for prepaid accounts, PHP 37,499 for the 16GB Black and PHP 43,699 for the 32GB Black.
